Spark plugs?

What type of simple leverage are you using on those coil packs. I can’t budge mine!

About an 8" pry bar on the coil as is comes off plug boot at top. But not a lot of force. You'll see....pop, pop, pop & done
Hood off, pry comes in from the front

had to get the sled out of my wagon... got a new one.... anyway the mf wouldn't start , lots of battery, i ALLWAYS let it warm up to where the rear cooler is very warm b4 shutting off.. anyway gonna put a set of plugs in , from what iv bin reading on here would everybody agree the stock plug with .20 gap is the ticket? max17 tune... or the double elecrode mr knapp tried? just lookin for the recommended best replacement.. thanks

Yes, others suggest .020 gap.

I typically go one step colder with a CR9EK. I believe stock heat range is a 8. And I don’t tighten the stock gap on the EK dual electrode grounds either. Just run the gap as it is out of the box .024 as I recall. Even .025 is fine on the dual electrode. I’ve not seen any misfires with these at that gap on any of the big trail tunes.

interesting.... go 1 colder just bc its duel electode? if was a single electrode stay with the 8? just curious... im gonna go with the cr9ek regardless

Go one colder if its tuned.

Agree. Pretty much no matter if it's a sxs, utv, motorcycle, atv, sled; run coldest plug ignition will fire without fouling.
I've been running CR9EK at .024" gap (what I've measured out of box). (Stage 4). Never had one foul. Even stock, I ran CR9EIX NGK (1 step colder than stock (which is CR8EV) and iridium tip). Never had one foul.
That said, I never let my sled sit and idle for 20-30 minutes and always let it get to pretty much operating coolant temp before shutting it off. I never fire it up, drive out if trailer, and shut it off cold.
