speed sensor magnets

wondering if anyone has seen this end cap with magnets in rub? are the magnets glued in? they just seem to pull out. I assume the plug was partially out last time i assembled and never noticed it...not sure

Yup it can rub. Very common and doesnt seem to hurt anything. If you take a magnet out be sure to put it back in same way. Polarity matters. They are just pushed in there.

Anyway you can tell which way? One came out when I pulled the shaft. So not sure exactly. Thanks for the info.

If I remember right it was all are in same way. So use a screwdriver to check the rest and make the one that came out the same.

So I checked it with another magnet and they are different. One attracts the next repels and so on. At least that how mine is.

Interesting.....that could very well be how the "speedo" picks up from it. Instead of a gear like apex used to have.

Yes that’s what they do. Turbo I wasn’t sure the pattern but knew polarity was important. I bet you got it right.
