I have the RS Venture and its 3 cylinder does very well it goes fast enough for me on a open field so a trail I can see it hitting at least 80 mph.

Well, I've taken mine to 140 km/h and have kept up with my son's Phazer GT. I may be mistaken and have actually gone faster (my memory fails me ). That's on bare straight lake runs. Multipurpose though has a lower gearing so I probably lose a bit on the top end. But then with my weight, I need the lower gearing.
Well I got to ride my 07 phazer gt again after selling it 4 years ago topped out at 85 mph then took my 09 v.lite on the same trail same day and got 87mph must be to do with the large windshield the phazer is bare I was a lot warmer on the v.lite too! Very pleased with it so far I have only had it 6 weeks but sure is comfortable and has nice power for me.wish it did not ice up at the rear though.I am going to try some Teflon spray to see if it stops it sticking.

Glad you are enjoying the VL! As for the icing issue, it can be fixed if you have the time and patience to work on it - a couple of posts on here concerning routing the exhaust back through the rear and adding a shield. I'm very pleased with the results of the mod I did.Phazedin said:Well I got to ride my 07 phazer gt again after selling it 4 years ago topped out at 85 mph then took my 09 v.lite on the same trail same day and got 87mph must be to do with the large windshield the phazer is bare I was a lot warmer on the v.lite too! Yeah, that windshield is awesome. Last night, it was -15C and my son has no windshield on his Phazer and handwarmers are marginal. We switched so he wouldn't freeze his fingers off. I froze my fingers, neck and forehead since I had to crack my visor open due to fogging (no plug for shield). After 15 minutes, I told him I want my nice warm sled back! He'll be upgrading his handwarmers.
Yes defiantly the warmest sled I have owned and the most comfortable managed to get 25 miles on it yesterday on the trail then 2 miles across the fields home in some deeper stuff after coating underneath the tunnel with Teflon spray it looks like it might have done the trick. Here's hoping other wise ill be extending the tail pipe!
