I have a 2012 Vector LTX
At about 1000 miles the speedo went out on it. It caused many other problems with the computer.
TORS was acting up etc.
The dealer changed the sensor down at the shaft.
Things started working again but the speedometer does not work properly.
I came to a complete stop and can watch the speed still counting down.
It takes a second or 2 to count down like I am still slowing down
15, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 2 and finally 0
How can this be fixed. The dealer said he may be able to make an adjustment but it is a 3 hour round trip and I don't want to go there till I know he can fix it.
Thankyou
Dara

I take it your bearing is good and the sensor is in the right spot without making contact with gear (thats the usual problem triping out a tors code) Sounds like the gear is just spinning and is stripped off drive axle? Never heard of that before, but who knows. Maybe a washer behind gear that's not suppose to be there and gear is not properly lined with sensor? I'm really just guessing.

Yes, check that little gear at the end of the drive shaft.
It is expected to have TORS kick in when the spedometer fails.

check the gear to see if it spins freely?
The dealer had no idea that the TORS would kick in with a bad speedo

Yes.
a second or 2 for it to come to a stop seems normal though depending on how fast you were traveling?
