Can some one please tell me if the 39/35 helix will give a little bit more snap down low. I have a powertrail tune with the corresponding clutching using the stock helix. The machine run perfect, and I have never blown a belt since new ,2800 kilometers ago. I also would like a little more snap down low, and I know the quick spool tunes have it. But in my group they also are the sleds blowing belts and always watching there knock lights flash unless the fuel is perfect. That's not for me, so that is why I am looking for other options to get more snap.

I believe the srx comes with a reverse helix 35/39. So start angle is the same as stock but then finish’s with the higher angle. So the low end feeling may not change over stock . But because it will have a 39 finish you will have to take some weight out to reach your peak rpm once into the higher helix angle . So in theory this should make the engine spool faster because of the lighter weight at the low end on the 35 angle . I’m by far a clutch expert and love learning clutching set ups from this site. hopefully some experts join in with some knowledge

My bad... I guess I got the angles wrong ,my limited understanding of clutching leads me to believe that helix is totally wrong for what I want. I'm glad I read this before I headed out and ordered one.

yep I had that same tune, it has ZERO snap.

240R has more snap even, and runs WOT for MILES on 87.

Get yourself an early spool tune, you already have a low angle(rev) helix which is what helps spool/rev down low.
