Stater? How do you know if it's gone bad? Also crank posistion sensor. No fuel pump, just cranks. New battery, ground blocks done, fuel relay replaced, and new solenoid. All fuses are good too. Could it be stater or crank sensor? I am really frustrated.

If your not hearing the fuel pump run when you turn the key on then the sled won't start. If the sled ran last year then your stator should still be good. Check all your fuses and the relay plugs. Hope this helps.

I think if you have the kill switch off you get no fuel pump but if I remember right no crank either. I would check for power to the fuel pump. did you have the tank off...did you plug it back in? pull the plug and check for power and if the is none trace it back if it has power then the pump may have failed.

Fuel pump will run and engine will crank even if you have a bad stator/pick up coil assembly.
If kill button is down engine will not crank nor will the fuel pump run. I would investigate the kill switch. Does the cluster light up when key is on and kill button is up?

sounds like no power to fuel pump. i would check at the relays above ls foot well and jump the pump one if battery power is there to check the pump.

Alright, thanks guys. Kill switch is on, relays all new, solenoid is new, 12 volts directly to pump makes it run, cluster lights up like normal, cranks over fine, new battery, all ground blocks done. This quit on me last year while riding. It just shut off from 45mph and would not start. Buddy looked up a code and it was something to do with atmospheric something.

If you run 12v to the fuel pump will it start?
Have you checked for voltage at the fuel pump when you turn the key to the on position?

12v direct to pump, pumps fuel, hooked lines up, ran fuel pump manually and cranked, no fire. At a loss here. Scrap yard?

Just want it to run so I can sell it and update. It's been well taken care of so I don't wanna just throw it out, if it ran it should still bring a few bucks to put towards something newer.

If it still won’t fire with the fuel pump hooked up direct then swap the fuel relay for another one (they are interchangeable) as the one relay runs the whole fuel system. (From memory). I know it’s frustrating but it’s going to end up being a small problem. Just hang in there.

No it cranks just fine as I wrote. Just don't fire. I imagine the computer tells the fuel pump how to run so it don't flood the machine. All this computer, fuel injection, altitude etc.. bring back a simple carb for me lol

Sorry, I meant if it still won’t fire. Edited post above.

I have a few more minutes to help now. Go back to the basics; (as if it is carbureted). Spark, Air, Fuel, timing. (assuming you have compression). Since you are not getting backfiring or the motor trying to catch, I would still suspect fuel, especially if you don't hear the fuel pump when the key is turned on. The attached wiring diagram shows 24 as the fuel injection relay, 25,26,27,28 as the fuel injectors, and 29 as the fuel pump. Note that the fuel relay drives the whole fuel system.
I would make sure that with the key on, I am getting 12v at the fuel pump. If no fuel, check the output side of your relays. A fast check is to just swap a known good relay with the fuel pump relay. Barring that, you could temporarily jump 12v to the output wire from the relay (remove the relay) and that should provide power to the injectors and the fuel pump.
Then its back to spark, air, timing.

Yeah the dealer gave me that diagram. I've tried pretty much everything that has been posted on the site. That's why I got to wonder about the bigger stuff like stater or crank sensor. What about a cdi box? Every thing relay on is replaced and still same result. All fuses replaced as well. It just acts like the computer isn't communicating with the rest of the sled.
