I would think it's a little stronger although I had no issues with the two plate version. This one just looks more professional.

For those wondering about it for short people, I have not ridden with it but I am only 5'5 and sat on Grizztracks sled a couple weeks ago with this MOD and it felt fine, u can even compensate either direction by rolling the handlebars if u had to. His felt good and I could still see the guage sitting down
