My sled stays in reverse after pushing handle back in, you can tell cause the handle doesn't have any resistance..Almost thru me over the bars when I hit the gas as the "beeper" was off...I have to rock the sled for it to release and engage forward
Any easy fix for this?? Or is this common with the 2011's?

always lock up the braks it will allow slack for it to release i think it is common but could be adjusted out if you have the time to mess with it it is fine tunning.

Did you try some lube on the shaft! Should return freely once disengaged.
I always keep the shaft lubed up as they have been known to freeze up if any water get in there.

Check the reverse linkages, could be loose or out of spec.

Someone mentioned the belt being too tight. Keeping pressure on the drive line.

That's exactly my problem but what happens when I take theshim washers back off to relieve the tension on the belt.? It sits too low bbecause the secondary won't collapse all the way

But do check the bolts holding the reverse linkage on...could save you a few bucks. Check chaincase tension too.

If I "rock" it ill here it clunk in gear, does that still sound like a tight belt?
