just installed stingrays center shock spring and noticed how close or tight the spring is to the shock and the upper shock boot is kinda floppy now due to the smaller spring. I am assuming this is normal ? And about many turns should the collar be turned after spring starts to tighten? I did 5 full turns.

That's normal. 3-6 turns seems to be the range.

I bought one of those springs too and I think he said on FB to start with 2-3 turns once the slop is taken out by turning the collar by hand. This is all done with no load on the suspension.

I will probably just put mine on the shelf. I had planned on using it but I picked up a full set of Elka Stage 5 shocks locally on Sunday so I really don't need it anymore. :)
