I searched and waded though alot of posts, but never came up with a clear cut answer i could use. Keep in mind when it comes to clutch things i am a complete newbie. I dont want to spend hundreds of $ on a clutch kit when i could probably get what i want out of modding the stock setup.

I would like to get some more acceleration and maybe top end from my sled. I do lake and trail riding.

I have seen threads saying to drill out the lower or middle rivet on the stock weights, add an OPO (orange purple orange?) spring and a silver secondary spring, something about 14.5mm rollers and other stuff.
So... what can i do to my stock clutch setup to make it work better? Do i need special tools to do clutch work? Is there a FAQ walkthrough with pics for doing clutch stuff?

Help a clutching newb out...

spring

try the spring there,s a few other things like a sillver secoundry spring and the three 5/16 lock washers on the helx studs. i would not jump to the 14mm rollers just yet as the 03 came with 15mm unlike the other years. you mite want to try jetting up one size to 137.5 this seemed to help mine a lot .
