Has anyone tried the storm 15o track on there sidewinder mine is a 17 LTX LE, I have enough miles on the original track and was thinking of changing it due to running TD tune around 270hp.
I know I may lose a little top end but don’t spend much time running over 120mph anyways.
Looks like a awesome track just looking for some input before I buy one.

I had a bunch of lugs rip right off with 1 season. I am tuned. I think the additional power destroyed it.

I was looking at that track too because I gouged a piece from the side of my OE track. I see the 19 LTX LE is coming with a 1.6 Cobra. Undecided...

Uh oh. I had this happen to the Ice Ripper on my '17 RTX, so then just went back to a studded RS2 with zero issues - I'll be running a studded Storm this season on my new '18 LTX, miles will tell I guess.I had a bunch of lugs rip right off with 1 season. What length studs are you running? I ordered an srx and am having them put a storm 150 on it and am wondering what length to run with this.

I went to CB Performance since he's a sponsor here and built a really nice template and pattern - bought the track and studs from him - 1575 (1.993" overall height) Woody's Gold Diggers. 144 of them. What length studs are you running? I'm not sure how they tore off. All I know is that I put around 1600-2000km on this and the track is screwed. Camso has asked for the track back for review and I'm awaiting to hear back.

Put the new Storm 150 on 2 sidewinder ltx's last year and have almost 4000 miles collectively and I thought it was a great track. my sleds were stock with clutch kits and 192 1575's double backed down the center and had no issues. Good design with very good hook up and pivots like the old RS2 1.25's. I would buy them again based on the first season with them but I will keep an eye on them and see if they have any issues down the line.

Im leaning towards the storm 150 for this year also. Was back and forth between that and cobra 1.6. The 1.25 Rip was useless on the trails I rode last year.
