Changing bearing on stub shaft, when i install new bearing does it go all the way down to the bottom or is there a bit of gap?
Forgot to take a picture before i removed old one!

Awesome!! Thxs for replying Yamamarc!!

Anyone have pictures of stub shaft flush and not flush? This way it will give a visual of what it should and shouldnt look like.

This bearing got pushed in slightly. I put a green mark at the small gap. I was able to slide a .050"(1.27mm) feeler gauge between the outer race of bearing and the seat

If you do a search on this forum, there have been multiple posts of such pictures by several members.
