I am running a Backcountry 1.75 on my new to me BTX 153. Does anyone have any experience with this track and using studs. I want to stud it for safety sake.

I know there's a thread Mr. Sled created for his 18 Apex XTX where he studded the Backcountry 1.75" track but that was using iGRIP screw-in studs and not your traditional type stud.

For what it's worth... Prior to 2005 I always studded all my sleds... Then when I bought a new Apex in 05 I decided to try without studs and I've never gone back. I now have a SW with the 137 1.75" track and would never consider studding it.
