I M installing 90 woodys megabites 1.325 on my track. I heard Viper s come with tunnel protectors which should be good enough. About the quiet track soft pads where the idler runs over, some say not to install the stud in the area and others no issue, as long as its cranked down tighter. I m thinking of just running middle of track with Woodies pattern. Any tips for torquing amount? Or just put them real tight with locktight.
Is there a big difference in going with more studs, say 2-4-2 pattern 135 studs. I ve always ran trail stud setup typically 96 studs in the past. Worked great for trail application and enhanced hook up on hard pack.

I did 96 down the middle on 137 and has good traction. Studs should come with install directions and lock nuts so no need for loctite. I think they torque to 15lbs. Check the woodys site instruction on there also.
