a buddy has an 09 venture gt, and we are going to stud it, what are everyone usen for tunnel prtectors?, yamaha dealer claims they dont offer tunnel protectors for his sled,lookin at the sled compared to my 06 rs venture the tunnel and and track suspension all look the same, so my question is will tunnel protectors from an 06 fit this sled??????

I have 09 venture GT , got mine from the dealer , rode mine for 300 ks without them and just nicked the pipes , dont run it picked without them

Do not waste time and money to stud this track the 144 track has good bit and braking it will cut the track life to about 7000 miles I have 14000 on my 06 venture track still good. I did have to replace the clips.

thats simply not true, i have 12433 miles on my 06 venture, best thing i ever did for this sled, track still looks new, before i studded track, i had a close call nearly crashin evertime i rode, for safety reasons i will not own a sled without studs, i guess we are goin to go with a set of tunnel protectors from an 06 venture and get this sled studded!!

Yamaha does sell them.Part # SMA-8ET21-50-01.Fits 07-13 Venture GT.They are $127.95 retail.They are in the 2013 catalog also.If you need anything let me know.

i have 19000.ks on my picked 09 gt , still in good shape , i only ride good trails and drive it quite hard for a couch , put in a couple picks a year and thats it
