Has anyone studded a 2010 Nytro SE?
I was told that you have to run the track tighter. Don't really want to run that track tight and take up HP. Seeing the 2010 has the internal/external drivers you can run them a little loose compared to the 2009.
Do I have to have tunnel protectors installed? The owner manual says Yamaha doesn't recommend studding. Boy but it sure makes a difference from a non studded track.
I'm looking to hear if anyone has studded there 2010 Nytro with Success.

I studded my 2009 SE, which is the same besides the extrovert drivers...but I put them in mine also. Stud it like you would any other snowmobile. I ran a stud boy 1.450" stud and didn't have a problem... Just run your track with "normal" tension. On the stock 1.25" ripsaw I think I ran a 1.325 stud. I'd put in 144 if you ride aggressive.
Your sled already has the tunnel protectors and everything installed from the factory.
