What u guys running in the 1 inch sidewinder track. 1.175 or 1.325. I am going to run 192 not sure if I’m going to use gold diggers, mega bytes, or triggers. Mainly lake riding with a little trail. Thanks

So Woody says 1.075 and stud boy says 1.187. I’m still un sure I’m waiting for Bruce from cbperformance to contact me back. What size are u guys running

I’m running Woody’s Gold Digger 1.450 on Stud Boy pro-lite double backers

Can't say enough good things about the Stud Boy Super Lite backers. The backer also acts as an additional paddle. Put over 10,000 miles on them and the pointed ridges on the backer were worn down but the paddle itself was still intact with no tear thru; although I only stud down the center.

I usually run the Woodys aluminum double backers. Since the new to me SRX has a 1” lug I was looking for a little help in the traction and decided to try these. With a 270 tune l’m sure I will be wearing them down too lol

Actually, you might be surprised at how much they don't wear down; of course, I'm not running a 270 tune but I bet they still hold up. Here's a pic of my old track with those backers that have over 10,000 miles on them:

Thats good news. I don't spin like an idiot on take off or over rocks and pavement anyways.

I too have had great success with Stud Boy ProLite backers. I use 1.625" Stud Boy Lake Racer studs. Never have had a pull-thr0ugh or tear-out.
Prior to install, I was advised (by Stud Boy) to tap them before installing studs which I did. Then they advised putting a drop of super glue in each hole, then install studs. Worked perfect. Based on testing, if/when I go to take one out (maybe lose a carbide tip) it's tough. The super glue is awesome - the studs are so tight I almost have to cut them out. However, as we all know, engage brain before lighting the track up. I can wreck any studs by spinning across railroad tracks! This is on my PEFI Stage 4 sled w 1.25" RipSaw II track. Awesome traction and never hit anything in tunnel. I have no protectors. IMO, if one tensions the track per PEFI specs, they won't hit.

Thanks for all the replies, I talked with Bruce today from cbperformance and he suggested1.325 triggers. Order in.

One thing I forgot to ask Bruce is what protection is needed. I see stm has kits and yamaha has kits. Do I need both tunnel and exchanger protectors?
