08 Nytro still with the stock subframe, and noticed when I got home saturday after riding that the left shock was sitting closer to the back side of the the top A-arm then the right. About 3/8" closer than the right, so I took a measurement from a fixed point on the bulkhead to the spindle bolt for the ski, and the left side is 3/4" back further than the right. So I started removing things to see if I could find out what is bent. A-arms all look good, spindles etc fine too, so it pretty much has to be in the subframe. But it is really hard to see that anything is bent, but I guess that it could be off just a bit at the frame and be off quite a lot at the ends of the the a-arms.

So I called dealer this morning to order me a subframe and he said he'd call me back after finding availability. When he called me back he said that the sub-frame has been revised again and has a new part number now. So this is the thrid frame out now for the front ends of these sleds, 08, 09 and now '10. But one good thing is that the lastest front end is cheaper than the last one. Hopefully it will be a little stronger than the stocker. Once it comes in I will check it out to see what is all changed on it from the last revision.

Only thing that I recall hitting a little harder was when I came up to a gravel road crossing and hit the edge of the road a little harder on the left side than the right, but wouldn't of thought it would of done anything, seems like I have hit a lot worse in the past. And after reading on this site I a surprised that haven't bent it sooner.

Everyone who has bent one has, for the most part, felt that the impact they sensed or felt shouldn't have bent it, its just the way it is. Check with your dealer about your stock arms, spindles, ball joints, etc being able to mate up with a new frame, I thought I had read that when it got changed, they had to change the a-arms, etc as well.

Definitely keep us informed on the differences between the 08 and 10 subframes. I'd like to see what the changes are. Make sure to take lots of pictures.

How much cheaper? part number?

I did a little searching on the subframe change and the part is now about $90 cheaper than the 09 version, pretty significant reduction.

Retail price 09 frame was $645 said would sell to me for $520, then they called back and said the frame had been revised and he could sell me the part for $455. So that is better than what it could of been, still seems like it bent way to easy.

I'll get some pictures taken and post everything.
