Subframe fastener fix

There is a fastening point on the subframe that often suffers from stripped threads. It is the spot where the forward lower bolt that holds on the lower side plastics threads into. It is a weld nut that is attached to a U tab on the lower subframe. If you drill out the fastener hole to 3/8" or slightly larger, you can clip in a U nut. Best way to do it is to start with a 1/4" bit and go up size by size until you get to 3/8"or 25/64". Hole will drill out easier this way and reduce the chance of damaging the U tab by twisting it. I will post some pics a little later.
 
This is smart thinking. My tab stripped out and I never even thought about doing that. To bad I no longer have a nytro.
