Summer Storage

lol good idea im going to try that!

oh crap i did it and now just rememberd i dont have warranty!!!!

I drain the gas, add Seafoam, run the sled, take weight off front and back shocks, grease skid, spray lube on all bolts, and if I am energetic I take springs out of clutches.

whatever makes you happy go with it. Every one has a different idea of how to store their sled.

i just run stabilizer through the system and let it set till winter comes back around then get it ready.............
Isn't it more about making the sled happy?
As for the fuel, it is recommended to also have a full tank of gas to reduce the moisture build-up. Grease is important in the bearings to force out the moisture. This is the first I have heard of changing the oil in the spring time.
Are there any thoughts (good or bad idea?) on starting it on a monthly basis and letting it warm until the red light goes off?

I also Own Nytro. Before putting it into storage in Tingalpa, I take clutches off, oil change, grease, and cover all metal parts to prevent corrosion.Because of the preventions that I took for my Nytro, it still looks brand new.

Changing the oil before storage is a good idea. I do this w the boat, snowblower, lawnmower, etc.
