hey guys i used the search function to know what i want to know but i did'nt find what i want so i start a new post. here my question do you use the stock set up that allen did for you or your did your own set up with the stage 3 clutch kit? at first i had to removed the tip washer cause the max rpm on top end was only 10500rpm then the belt was slipping at engament so i add 2 washers at the heel for a total of 8 washers. so my problem are for the mid washer i know that allen do not recomanded to add washers to the mid but my clutch seem to be different than the other if i'm cruising between 50-70mph and i hit the throttle the rpm goes to 11000-11100 and it drop to 10800-10900. it's like the opposite as it should be i want it to go to 10500-10600 out of the hole then slowly climb to 10800-10900rpm. so i decided to add washers to the mid just for fun i went to up to 3 washers to the mid but it still hit 11000rpm then it slow down to 10800. the only thing it change was the cruising rpm at 55mph the engine rev about 7500 instead of 8500 as before without mid washers. it's not a traction issue this is on hard pack trail. with the stock clutching on a dead start it goes to 10800 and stay there to top end speed. i got a set of HH from my old rx-1 but i don't want to start all over again. the weird think is on my apex i can add a lot of washer on the mid but it cannot deal with the tip washers it fall off on top end. it's like the opposite that a read from other ty fellows.
