taking exhaust baffles out?

just wondering if you remove all the baffles does it hurt anything and how does it sound

I did it on my old apex, before i turbo'd it. I realize its a different sled with different motor but.....

I believe i removed the center two and drilled the outter 2.

It sounded awesome in my opinion, all my buddies called it the Grizzly Bear.

I dont know if it had any effects, pos/neg. but it sounded faster...
