I was at my dealer... and he was talking to a local guy (mid 20s) that owns 3 oil change shops.. He told me how happy he was with his vector! He told me he saw 107mph on the speedo ( i didnt have the heart to tell him that isnt actual speed) He did complain about his buddys SRX smoking him on the lake... (like he didnt expect that LOL)
He told me the hardest part about going 4 stroke for him was forgetting to put two stroke oil in his sled...LOL

If i had a dollar for every guy ive talked to who thinks there sled goes 120mph or faster id be a figgin billionaire
Im not kidding.. ive talked to several XC600 owners who think there sled will actually go 115mph.. and ZR800s that go 120mph etc etc.

LOL.. I wish that was true...
My buddy who is a die hard ac guy... actually thinks that the Thunder cat is the worlds fastest sled! he claims that box stock they went 132mph..
Ive talked to a guy who said he had his indy 500 up to 110mph... when i told him he was wrong and would be lucky if it could do 90-95mph he said... NO YOUR WRONG.. The speed said so....

Back when those 500 indy's where popular,everyone around here thought they would go 105 mph.the thing was my exciter would smoke them,and it would only hit 95 mph on the speedo, and it wasn't accurate either.

I once heard a guy in a corner store say his phazer went 180 MPH and that he hit a culvert pipe going 120 on it. He was purchasing some Beer and im guessing he had many many before that. This took place in a store located in East Tawas Michigan.

best one i've heard is an exciter II hittin 110 on the lake...i dont think an exciter II could hit 110 goin down a damn mountain
Iv'e had my speedo up to 123 mph and 111.5 mph through the trap in a 1/4 mile,lol
Is 107mph on the speedo that far outa reach? I've gotten up to 93mph(speedo) on my RS Mnt. with only 250miles on it up in the Horns? Was hoping to hit the century mark. GPS says about ~89.
No it's not in the winter Iv'e seen 119 on the speedo in perfect condition's but consistantly right oround 116mph on speedo.I only radared my sled twice in the winter I ran 93-94 mph that was in a 1000 ft both times bone stock.
