So those that have a TAPP clutch and the 998 turbo sled, what have you found to be the best settings for your sled? What ramp and spring are you using for your secondary? What type of secondary?
I have a Tapp and have only gotten a few hundred miles on it and am looking to get it dialed in closer for the season ahead. I have the TAPP set up on ramp B, 5 clicks and no additional weight in the stock arms. My secondary is a STM roller with a Dalton Black/Purple (114-175 lbs.) spring and a 42/36 ramp. It seems that my backshifts are a bit lazy. What suggestions do you have?

what rollers do you have? +1 or +2's?

I run the heavy high engagement Tapp spring, stock position A on the ramps, two short bolts in the arms, clicker 5 or 6 and a custom 43/32 helix (Old school STM) with a XS belt on 300hp. Runs pretty good. Lots of people think the helix I run holds back top end, but it seems to work for me and keeps my belt cool.

Are you stock or tuned?
Testing is a must. With that being said my TAPP is set up almost identical to Tcat 100. I went with the mid primary spring and try to set initial tune to run my clickers at 3. It will over-rev on loooong runs. I was going to add a bit of weight when the snow ran out. This was on a 270 stock muffler tune. I am upgrading to a 300 tune this year so the testing begins again. I am guessing that a few grams in the arms will get it done.
I went back to my stock secondary with stock helix. I changed the the secondary spring to the Dalton B-O at 90degrees. Secondary was nice and cool, no belt marks on clutch faces. I may try a 38-35 helix just to see what happens.
I feel the aftermarket secondary clutch's really don't offer any performance improvement over stock. Tuning parts are cheaper and the whole set up is "prettier" but the stock unit works just as good in my opinion.
With about 4000 miles on this TAPP I can say I really like it and feel it to be problem and mostly maintenance free piece. It really preforms well and upshifts aggressively. It is expensive but "buy once, cry once" It is piece you can keep for multiple sleds and years.

Quality on this clutch is unreal. the only thing the wears are the easily replaced rollers, and even those way less than a ski-doo clutch.

I'm tuned at 270 . What I'm trying to figure out is if I go to a 46/36 ramp what changes should I expect to see?

I would try going back to A position on the ramps

Less backshift means what exactly? The B ramps are more aggressive correct?

Yes, so you want it to rev more so you want less aggressive. That will make it snappier
