TD MAX SPOOL 16

I used thunder heavy hitters and thunder orange springs on both sides 33/35 thunder helix at 40 degrees with max 16 last season, 1600 miles on the same XS825 belt and it looks great. sled ran perfect, 89-9,000 RPM. TP clutching works
Good to know,i had ran there orange secondary spring in the past, but hauled it out, because of belt heat issues, but that was on a wrap of 60 degrees,i may try it again at 40 like you ran,and see how it acts, and yes I have about 1000 miles on the XS825 belt as well.

try going the other way. i had mine at 80

I just spoke to Mike at TD. The tune hasn't changed but the hp number adjusted to reflect actual dyno numbers.
its kind of a who claims more hp on similar tunes, one shop says they make 300 and the other shop currently advertises 290 then they HP match. lol Nothing against any tuner but id ask to see dyno sheets if 10 hp concerns you.

Yep, I remember that post from the end of last season. TD kept their numbers low purposely.
Makes good sense to give real life numbers for Sales and Marketing when competing with other shops for business though. Very nice that I still have the best Max Spool 16 tune!

Besides, good clutching, good traction, and good chassis handling can easily more than make up for being down 10 HP. Especially at the HP numbers these 998's make at 17+ lbs of boost!

I just seen a post from Ben on Facebook. He says he will be releasing an update to this tune next week and it's a big gain in power.

I saw that. I was getting ready to have mine flashed. I guess I'll wait another week.

MS16 is a phenomenal tune, pulls like a freight train... should really be called MS17 SM as mine runs 17.3 psi or so.

Everyone raves about it for sure. Ben was actually commenting on my post when he mentioned a new version was coming. I've been on the fence about whether to go with MS16 or PT SM.

I highly recommend the stock muffler bundle.

X2
I do not check my boost much anymore whereas there is a lot happening in short order, when you use all of this tunes power on the mid size trails that I frequent.
I much prefer checking revs to make sure I am at that happy 8950-9050 spot, and of course also trying to check on my speedo many times during the day, because over 100 happens really quick when just cruising and mashing the throttle. And I like seeing that and much more.

Checked my boost once so far this year because my buddy said he was at 17.5
I was at 17.2 or 17.3

After all, if your revs are correct, boost must be there!
