You racing up on the head pond? I'm just outside Woodstock in Bedell. So after testing, it was the xs 825 bringing down rpm. Need to clutch significantly lighter for this belt. Me I will run the 8jp for this year and throw in the xs for our Sunday race your neighbors we do here. I ran the 8jp in 16” of fresh powder yesterday mostly on power trail and it was spinning 8800 in that so shoud be bang on when the groomers are done by Saturday night. The snow is FINALLY here in western NB and the groomers are out in full force

8JP wont last with big power, not too mention you will be needing to clean tunnel and clutches often, that belt is by far the dirtiest/grimiest belt ever made!

I know it is but I’ve got 2 8jp belts and am about strapped after spending 25k on this sled this year. Wish there were more threads on here about clutching exclusively for the XS. The apex I’m coming off did not react this way. Hope my troubles helps someone else out on the clutching choices.8JP wont last with big power, not too mention you will be needing to clean tunnel and clutches often, that belt is by far the dirtiest/grimiest belt ever made!
