What's everyone seeing for boost with the PT CAI tune?

I'm seeing 14.7 to 15.4, probably average is 15.1ish.

I got two new Jukebox packages for 3bar map, I haven't tried the Stock Mod muffler juke box yet, but with the 3" Sandale I'm seeing as high as 17psi on PowerTrail. Not sure if I should be concerned, no knock, but still. I'll try the Stock Mod muffler this weekend and see what I get.

17? Wow seems high. I'm nowhere near that. The most I can get through my stock BOV is 15.4. Proved it today as I flashed max 17 and could only get 15.4, turned the BOV around and was seeing high 16s but seen knock and quickly aborted and swapped the BOV back around.

Oh, I have the Turbosmart BOV. The jukebox tunes I got are for that and the 3bar. And yeah, 17 psi from PT has me puzzled.

not surprised at all that your seeing 17 on that map. 3" hyperflow flows very well, Turbo smart BOV does not leak. And your 3 bar sensor allowing you to read boost past the stock sensors limitations.

Mufflers come into play with boost....

My stock modded muffler flows a tad less...but still sick amts of pull and power, I like the quietness for sure.

I am more concerned with where the boost comes on. Its definitely an addiction!

Ya,beerman,my guage reads same thing, and that is on evo 4 map which is 14.7-14.9 according to them, when I called them to ask,i told them I am seeing at least 2psi higher than what there tune was suppose to boost to. And maybe it is because of our 3" sandale mufflers, but I absolutely love mine, how do you like the sound and performance of your sandale?

I really like the Sandale Hyperflow. I’m not sure what it’s like around me when I’m riding, but I don’t think it’s too loud for me as the rider, and I don’t like a lot of noise. This is very subjective stuff, and after the dB test I was afraid it would drive me crazy, but I think it has a lower bass tone and less treble which makes it ok “for me”. Again pretty subjective, but it feels quieter than my stock Apex and no louder than the SQ, although the dB test tells a different story.

Having said that, I’m super impressed with the TD Stock Mod muffler. Power is very good and I can’t even hear the exhaust at 60 mph, just the wind and engine, it’s a totally different and pleasurable experience.

As for the performance of the Sandale Hyper-flow, picking up 2 psi just by adding it speaks for itself :)
