meant to post this a couple of weeks back.
was riding -36 with windchill stopped to stretch the legs a minute later the sled shut off
i re started it and the temp light was on? i rode it for a couple of minutes and it went off.
plenty of snow on the trail.

My phazer has the same problem.
Ice builds up at the front of the heat exchanger.
Check the ice at the front of the track next time.

thanks i will check that next, now that i think about it there was quite a bit
of ice build up....

If you let it idle for a long time it will shut down automatically.

Check your coolant mix also. Mine ran very hot during a very cold week this season in QC. I found my coolant to 100 glycol. Changed to 50/50 with 1/2 a bottle o Water Wetter.

it only idled tops 1 minute.

Stock coolant in Yammy sleds are rated down to -62 degrees F...too much overkill imo. Drain some coolant out and replace with distilled water.
