went out for a ride tonight and, when i stopped at the gas station my hi temp light came on ( sled was just idling) when i would tap the gas it would go away. Is it a bad sensor or could it be some thing else?
Also when i went to put it into reverse it would not engage, just grind.( worked fine when i backed it out of the garage 30 min before.) i assume that it is just out of adjustment. how do i check that?
any advise is greatly appreciated. thanks noah

Its normal for the light to come on when idleing for a few minuits. Your linkage definantly needs adjusting. Not sure how to do it but that is the problem

Hmm I have had a nut come loose on the linkage, all of a sudden I just lost reverse. When I got home and checked it the nut had backed off a lot. Tightened it up and good to go.

Check chain tension as well.
