I would just like to thank Dave and let everyone know just how reliable his work really is! We have an rx1 that is going on 6 years old with a hurricane block, turbo system and standalone that made 526hp @32pounds and has never been apart and runs like it was built yesterday! The sled has went in the 7's and ran 179mph in 2000ft. We also have a trail Apex Dave built with his turbo system, standalone and decompressed motor with studs and stock pistons and rods, this combo made 330hp at 12pounds on pump and 377@21 with VP Import. This is it's 3rd year and again never been apart and runs perfect (2% leak down last time we checked) and it has been run hard lol 8.55@155mph on straight 91 and 8.11@160mph on Import at 23pounds with stock internels. Dave truly builds an amazing product that we are blown away with how good both packages have been to us thanks again Dave!! I am sure there are a lot more stories like this out there and thought I would share our experience,

Not trying to be confrontational or sayin it ain't so, but I gotta ask what turbo makes 15 hp per lb of boost?

I thought the norm was 10 hp ish per lb of boost. Ulmer said mine is 11 ish per lb but I have never heard of 15 before.

Sorry my mistake I forgot to mention both motors have Dave's head porting as well, so the head can flow more CFM rather then the turbo building more pressure to flow the same CFM.

Very impressive.... Sometimes you get what you pay for.
I hear nothing but good things about hurricane perf.

Barry
