I run the second smallest slug buried in the tip.
So.....76.1 grams?? What are the specs on that cat secondary spring and or how does it compare to stock spring as far as tension/compression?

I believe it's same as what ulmer uses. We run them at 9/1 which seems to have a similar torsion to the stk spring at 3/3 but this has more side load. After testing them all we ran this pretty much all season.

Just had the SM max spool 16 flash installed.
I am at 15.9 with stock BOV.
Put 400 miles on it between yesterday and today. Big difference from last flash(eco-trail) for modded muffler. Every time I checked it, it maxed out at 15.9.
Are you sure About that 16.8?
Wow it goes really good as is but 1 more PSI means 8-10 more Hp. Shall have to install a new BOV next season!
I have data logger and on the graph it says that the boost map is 16.8 while the graph tops out in the mid 15’s. It will be interesting to see what the graph says when I test with the new
BOV.

Yes please, I also need to know if it should boost to 16.8 I do not want to leave any on the table so to speak.
Neat to watch the boost and see it change at different rpm.
I do not have the Data Logger, just going by the boost gauge (hour run time). That and the knock light are great additions to my upgrade along with the added hp of course.
I saw the upgrade icon that came through the email. It stated 255+ hp. I was told for my set up I was at 260!
Man, it gets to 120 in a hurry, and that is on inches of meal with this warmer weather. Just what I expected from my stock set up!

I could just try the stock BOV backwards for a boost test, as stated on other posts.

Thanks for the update Buckeye. Must have pulled a bit harder and extra rpm I bet.
That is a nice bit of info. I surely will follow your lead for that extra lb of boost.
The 15.9 was fun but full boost will be even more fun.
I still managed 13.5 mpg lowest, and 15.2 best. Had I stayed out of throttle 16 would have been attainable.
Trails were starting to set at dusk, so mileage went up but so did the speed. Lol

I am consistently around 15.0 mpg on the trails. Worst was 12.6 in 12" of new snow. best was 16.1.

TS BOV 34 mm. Comes with green spring installed - 15 In HG.
The links that I have checked for the TS BOV all state above.
Is that the correct application for my Winder?

Hi buckeye, that is the tune I want woodys to download next year to my sled, but I am concerned that my CAI and sandale 3" will overboost it some, and may need more than 91 octane,do you run it with stock muffler and stock airbox? Also do you notice with the SM it gets bright red from to much boost trying to get the gas,s out?I found that while the SM max spool 16 calls for 16.8 boost i was unable to get over 15.5 with the stock BOV. I now have the TS BOV but yet to run with it.

Yes I do run it with stock muffler and airbox. I haven't notice the muffler getting red hot, but I don't ride at night much.
I fill with 93 unless it isn't available. Occasionally with 91. I only noticed the knock light once on along test run on the lake. I think the SM maxspool16 tune is the same tune for airbox or cai, just runs richer due to the more restrictive airbox. i could be wrong though.

Does ben say that its safe for 91 octane? If you don't run cai or biger muffler outlet, than it may be ok on 91,but I wonder if I would be better off with PT and keep my cai and 3" sandale?Yes I do run it with stock muffler and airbox. Yes it is safe for 91. I will be upgrading the muffler next season.. Just not sure which one. I don't want a lot of noise, so that will be a factor. I do like the Jaws variable design. It doesn't open until 8 psi which would be great for the trail.

If your so worried about fuel just run power trail and be done with it. PT is super safe on 91.
