throttle cable length?

Own a 13 Nytro xtx. Put a lakeffect 2.5 riser and do want to go a little higher. Had a little trouble with t.o.r.s. If I go 1" or 2" more will I have to do something to the cable or purchase a Nytro mountain cable?
