I just want to give a shout out to Thunder Products. I ordered a spring and helix online yesterday at 10 am and received it in the mail today! Nice Work

Lonn made it sound as the Gates belt would outlast the 8JP and that the 8Jp would put off a fine rubber mess that would stick to everything under the hood. I am returning the 8jp from the sled purchase and buying the gates on his advise. getting gates for same price as 8jp.
He is 100% correct. The 8JP is super dusty. I ran one for 200 kms. initially. When I checked my clutches I couldn't believe the mess in there. Cleaned it all up and switched to the Gates Carbon. Very happy with it.

Lonn is a great guy and the service is outstanding!

I installed all my clutch stuff from Thunder products two weeks ago. The big venom kit with heavy hitters, orange primary spring and glide washers. Also the 33/35 helix and orange secondary spring. Lonn set the weights up on the hitters based on my weight with gear. The last couple days I have had the chance to try it out. I must say I'm very pleased with the performance. Very smooth engagement somewhere around 2800-3000 rpm, quick throttle response and downshifting. Hard to tell on max rpm but the short runs I have had show 8800-8900 rpm. I will know more when I can get some long runs and I will adjust accordingly. I would like to thank those who suggested TP because so far I'm very pleased and would also recommend them.

XP, you are stock correct? (no tune and on an XTX?) How did he have your weights set up?

yes I'm completely stock except I have a Ice attack track instead of the stock track. I have 3.3 grams in the heel (3/4 allen socket) 2.6 middle (3/8 steel bolt) and 4 grams in the tip (3/8 steel bolt 1 thick washer) My XTX 137" is the same as your LTX LE as far as gearing, drive sprockets and things like that. What made mine an XTX was the track that I no longer have.
