top speed, fuel mileage

I guess ideal cond. will show 110 to 120 mph on the vectors, Saw 115 on a hard RR grade this weekend, kinda shocked me. Could have been a little slippage as the trail started looking grey (ice) at the end of my run.
Came close to 20 mpg on the rage and vector, running 50 to 90 mph most of the day.

Just did some clutch work on my 06 Rage today, stock primary with drag and fly kit, Super torquer sec. clutch and running XS 801 belt, geared down 1 tooth from stock. Running on lake with about 4" of snow. Best run 108 mph and had to shut down, ran out of smooth conditions. Ran 106mph on approx. 1/2 mile plowed drag strip on lake, with 2" of snow. I am very pleased with these speeds. Oh, forgot to say I weigh over 300# with all my gear on. Hope I get time to run again with lighter driver. I usually get 15 to 17 mpg.

2006 Vector studded, otherwise stock. Radar run on perfect ice track of 3000 feet, gunned at 100.8 mph. Speedo read 112. Speedos are off at least 10%.

2006 Rage, 112 on the dreamometer. Hard running in the U.P. 16 mpg, have gotten 20.2 being easy on the flipper. I tell ya, the stock clutching is about spot on, we worked about three hours on clutching to gain 2 sled lengths in a 1\4 mile. For a heavy machine these will get up go and run on the top end with some of the big twin 2 smokes. :exc:

Saw 112 on the speedo 2 weeks ago, very hard packed and the last trail ride i went on I did 100mi and used 4.18 (can gal) 23.8 miles to the gallon  :4STroke:
