Nailed it. There is always someone with more $$, time and experience.Oops I see you said Turbo. SETUP. There are plenty of turbo Vipers that will kill a Sidewinder stock. From there who cares. Is no limit other than $.

The more $$ you fork over the more fun you have...no that's a lie, I've had as much fun on bone stock sleds as I have my turbo. I won't go as far as to say my viper would beat an equally matched sidewinder, but I've did enough homework over the last few years to know how the chassis responds to different conditions and I tweak setups from day to day a bit to get a little advantage if I know I'm gonna be riding with other turbos. Haven't ran all out with mine for awhile now but the few times I've held it this year for any amount of time have been 60-70 mph roll on ons and it's amazing how fast it'll get to 110-115 mph, it's still jumping 3-4 digits at a time at those speeds..but even at low boost (5 psi) it was still a 115+ mph machine so if there's still 105 mph turbo vipers out there they need to be doing some tweaking cuz there's way more potential there.

Didn't say FUN Studroes. I have a lot of fun on the Phazer and that only goes about 80!The more $$ you fork over the more fun you have...no that's a lie, I've had as much fun on bone stock sleds as I have my turbo. Last weekend my buddies apex broke and took my backup phazer and had an absolute blast on it- we switched off riding it and I got it up to 84- not bad considering 93 is it on my viper.Didn't say FUN Studroes. I have a lot of fun on the Phazer and that only goes about 80!

I know. My daughter only weighs 90 or so and that dang Phazer is not that much slower than my Viper either! I was moving the Phazer around tonight and picking up back end. Wow a lot lighter than Viper. Could never go back to it though. Love my Viper more because I do see enough speed most times and front end handling is just light years ahead of Phazer. Phazer sure brings a smile to my face everytime I ride it though no doubt!Last weekend my buddies apex broke and took my backup phazer and had an absolute blast on it- we switched off riding it and I got it up to 84- not bad considering 93 is it on my viper.

I know exactly what you mean! Straight line speed is fun, but that's where it ends, my cat 800 is 50 hp less than my viper and I can ride that sled harder, faster and more in control 99% of the time.

Back on topic. With this new track I finished studding it last night. I aligned the track. Yes you heard that right. It actually went right where I wanted it to go. I enjoyed that so much I went the other way just to see if I was imagining things. Nope it moved the other way! Guys my original track I could never get it to align properly. This one 1/4 turn one way or the other moves it a good 1/8-1/4in over. Liking that a lot.

so I'm now turboed and haven't had the chance to do a wide open run(today 155km/h afr 11.4 and boost 5lbs) lake was rough as hell so I had to let off throttle. The more $$ you fork over the more fun you have...no that's a lie, I've had as much fun on bone stock sleds as I have my turbo. so if mine doesn't do 110 to 115mph what do I have to do!!
thanks Marc

Tomorrow I am off work so will be on the river at Sunrise. GoPro is all charged up! We did get 6" of snow so will have to pack it down but that's about what I was in last year at 106.so when's the test with new drivers!! I've been waiting patiently![]()

Don't lift, tuck down and get back on sled! Little prayer never hurt either.so I'm now turboed and haven't had the chance to do a wide open run(today 155km/h afr 11.4 and boost 5lbs) lake was rough as hell so I had to let off throttle.

I thought same thing about my RR Studroes. Till I jumped it big! Had to revalve those shocks too. Still need to test them out. Definitly another fun sled though. Could just be because its so different though. Still don't trust it either. I really cant think of a Snowmobile I haven't had fun on.I know exactly what you mean!
