upon starting my summer mods and maintenance i found that the black pieces that go over the torsion spring behind the bogey wheel have a groove worn in them and are also wearing a groove into the rails.
is there an easy fix for this?
are the black pieces necessary to hold the springs?
do i need to replace the whole assembly?

anyone with some ideas or should i check back in fall when site is busier.
was wonderin if anyone had this problem.
can i just stick a washer under it?
anyone gone to a springless setup and have these they want to get rid of.

You can replace the spring retainers not to big of a job maybe 1/2 hour . If using the stock rear skid you can't go springless . Well you could but will have to replace the shock w/ coil over if it will fit . ;)!
