What would cause the springs from being uneven when putting suspension back in. I never took a picture of both sides before tear down. Shocks revalved and torsion on medium. Thanks

Just thinking, measure the arm length just to see if one isn’t longer/shorter than the other.

After looking closer the left side slot on the skid dropped off the front arm. Glad I caught it. Now redo things. Have a good 3 months to fix it.
Glad I caught it

Dang! good thing you caught that... I bet that made the skid go in easier, I've been looking for ways to get the skid in easier LoLo_O

Never thought of replacing the shaft. Next time.

Got everything back in. Put 3 2×4's under the rails in the middle and allowed the skid to pivot. Used a block and tackle to lift the back.

We had snow in Western Manitoba yesterday, hockey is starting, 1st club meeting last week so riding isn't too far away.

While fixing that you really should replace that weak shaft it goes on.
Do you have the part numbers for the shaft? Am I right in assuming the parts are from a Cat?

In FAQ. Cat or Yamaha part#'s
Here is complete RR shaft. Stronger bigger design. Those bushings on end are same dimensions other than the flange is thinner. They also are machined rather than powdered metal like stockers. I would imagine the RTX LE is same thing. Didnt have one on hand to check so all I have are Cat part #'s

8408-051=Bolts 2 needed
3604-791=Bushing 2 needed
3604-711=Front Arm axle 1 needed
3604-798=Center Shock Axle steel 1 needed

These are what I believe are the equivalent Yamaha Parts
8KN-G7465-00-00 = FRONT ARM AXLE 1 NEEDED
8KN-RA1A0-00-00 = BOLTS 2 NEEDED
8KN-RA805-00-00 = BUSHING 2 NEEDED
8KN-RA729-00-00 = CENTER SHOCK AXLE STEEL 1 NEEDED
