Aap inuuvunga! Narsarsuaq kujataani kitaaniippoq. South westcoast!

I am not an inuk, but I tried my best to translate your wording...

You are an inuk, you are a canadian from the pond inlet/arctic bay region...I don't know where Narsarsuaq is though...

I've had trouble translating, I'm going by Inuktitut, but what your saying seems greenlandic? My best guess...

Yellowknife, actually, RX-Eskimo wrote "Inuuviit? Kanatamiutavunga Tununiqmit. Namiituq Narsarsuaq, east or west coast?" which means: Are you inuk? I´m Canadian from Tununiq, where is Narsarsuaq located, east or west coast?.

And i answered "Aap inuuvunga! Narsarsuaq kujataani kitaaniippoq." which means: Yes i´m inuk! Narsarsuaq is at the south west coast. (Greenland).

Ernie

As much as the track approach looks concerning, it isnt. I rode the sled and it did wonderfully in the deep. Surprisingly went much better than i thought it would, jumped right on top and floated like crazy. i agree however, the less the track approach the easy it gets on top of the snow, but the demo sled did quite well and it is nothing to worry about. Have fun and pray for snow.

Thanks for the translation. It was cool.

Hyflyr, the floating part sounds great, but where you in the mountains when you rode the mountain lite? I bet it will trench up in the steep and deep! :exc: What do you think?

Ernie

Yes i was in the hills in about 2 feet of fresh fluff. There was a good base but none the less the sled was handling it great when others were struggling. The motor seemed strong for being a 500 and having a 144x2 in that much snow too, i really thought the motor was going to be a downfall but it did much better than some of the 600's that were with us. Anyway, just my 2 cents. later boy's.

It also allows a sled to carve well .
When they come out with a 900 twin it will have the bigger track :tg:

What ever happened to you riding the Phazer at the haines Summit ? Did you ride it and how did it perform in the powder, did it trench like an old mountain max or get right on top? Also how much did the riders weigh?

Just wondering if the attack angles are any different between the Mtn and the FX/GT's. Looking at them they don't seem much different.

I specifically bought my Mtn lite for woods and boondockin so I will never know how it does in the steep and deep. I ride mainly in the UP of Michigan and often in 2 ft plus of powder and wow, incredible I must say.
