Fortunately it wasn't me driving. It was my sled tuner. But was able to bring it safely to a stop after rolling out 1702' from where the track was, according to the gps on a buddy's gopro. I have a clip of the track blowing out, but can't upload it. Has the wrong extension on the file.

Yikes! Camso is made right here in my hometown and have personally seen production line and how they are made! Wouldn’t buy anything else!

Get rid of the double plates.... Run all singles.... better scratch lines and less of a chance of a tear out or grabbing a stone and taking out a heat exchanger.

I had a double pull out which made a hole and then hit heat exchanger and made a hole losing All antifreeze . I was on lake when this happen, racing. Singles only

This track didn't break from double backers....or singles..... or whatever else. It just a POS. Maybe suitable for 100hp or less sled, but I probably wouldn't ever use it on anything.

Its not the type of track... It was probably a factory defect and he was the un lucky person to get it.

So as a newbie, can I ask if a stock Camco Ripsaw II track is ok to stud with a pattern recommend by one of the popular stud manufacturer's? Is this a composite track? (somebody above commented on composite track). Thanks

Ahhhh, yes, (https://compositsnowmobiletracks.com/).
The engineer saw compoSITE and not CompoSIT. Composite material usually has an increased breaking strength then non-composite material.
thank you
