9224H - 137" x 14" wide x 1" 2.86 ripzaw II
9010H - 14" Wide Hacksaw 136 x 14 x 1, 2.52" pitch, Two ply, Full clip, This is a 15" wide track we narrow.
Assuming the 136" will work with 10t 2.52 drivers, what's going to be the difference?
Does one have a sizable advantage over the other? if so, what would that advantage be?
Note: I'm already gear limited to 130mph. So is there any benefit to go to 1"??
Thanks guys!!

136 with 10t drivers works
2.52 pitch is quicker and also provides more bars for studs .
1 in track and 14 in , is ok if your on ice or hard pack, also allows u to run shorter studs for less rotating mass.
All depends on what racing/playing your setting up for

My style: I ride like I'm 80yrs old and race like a kid. My axle is worn, was able to tighten up the .020 clearance with shim stock. (Thanks, fords4life) held up for 3 seasons! Track is original. So, the additional cost would just be the drivers.
"Sideshowbob" posted up the replacement Cat axle (w/drivers) on another post.
So ill head in that direction. Ty....

Lol. If I had known then what I know now, I'd have started testing/experimenting way before I did.NYT, Understand your thought process. Thank you for your sharing your knowledge.

For me, I should have decided way before I did, if I want to drag race 660-1000-1250 ft. or race top end at 1/4-1/2-3/4 mile.
I learn slow.

Focus, Focus....lol! John, Youre going in a similar direction that i am. We can't run thru the trails like Fleecer & gang at a 150+.. my helmet would fly off, and my head would be in it. The sport is changing for all of us. If I dont fart around with this sled and chase stupid $hit, idk what I'd do?!?!Lol. If I had known then what I know now, I'd have started testing/experimenting way before I did.

I'd rather be riding like it was 10yrs ago.

If you're going to do it, do it right and put Avid 2.52 drivers on. The 2.52 track pitch is freer rolling and will run more mph up top, if that's what you're after. Trail rider, I don't like the 1" track unless you're always hard pack, but that's just my opinion. I will say I just did a Sidewinder converted to 2.52" drive and it was worth 3-4 track hp over the 2.86 pitch.

Cat axle w/drivers $385
Avid drivers & axle $580
What is it about the avid drivers vs stock that stands out, in respect to 1,000ft runs?
And a few fly bys @ 130mph+/-
Very slow by today's standards

They are 100% machined versus molded, run truer and are stronger than the OEM Cat ones. If you're going to buy a track, stud it, and change it, do it right, do it once.

I have brand new 1.63 on a 1.25 track. Will the 1.63 be OK on a 1" lug track? If not would 1.5's be more appropriate?
I had to ask...

In my opinion 1.63s woodys i assume are too long on a one inch track.

IMO, 1.575 Woodys are about limit (for trail riding) on a 1.25". For sure too long for 1" track.

If you have decided on a 1 inch track everything about the Hacksaw is better in my opinion. The things already mentioned and the Hacksaw is a bit better in the snow in my experience. Now 1 inch tracks suck in the snow but I mean if comparing the 2 and more interested in top speed.9224H - 137" x 14" wide x 1" 2.86 ripzaw II
