I know I'm a bit late, but just a warning that you will find the 1" Predator is a lot looser than the Ripsaw on looser trails.
Everywhere else the Predator is awesome and it is my overall track of choice, but when we get 3" of fresh snow on top of hard packed trails and that 3" gets packed down a little - the Ripsaw is much more stable side to side.
Amazingly, even in those looser conditions, my 07 RTX with the Predator will out accelerate all of the Ripsaw eqipped Apex's. Cornering though in those conditions, my back end is sliding all over the place.
When the trails are either more mature/hard packed or deeper (so the Ripsaw can't grip either), the Predator grips as well as anything out there.
As far as top speed, I agree that the Predator is very good. Also I get 10% better fuel economy than all of the Ripsaw equipped Apex's. On top of that, the Predator out lasts the Ripsaw by something like 30%.
