New to Yamaha this year...all my previous sleds used internal track adjuster bolts with lock nuts...Polaris style.
The Yammie of course has the nylock nuts at the rear of the rails.
I have been struggling with the track adjustment since buying this sled new this year 2013 NytroFX
Which way to turn the adjuster nylock nuts to get the track to move??
As in if I tighten the nylock nut on the clutch side will the track move closer to that side or away from it?
Or otherwise explained if I tighten the axle a side does the track move over that way or away from that way?
Is there typically a problem with the adjuster nylock nuts backing off? It seems like they have done so even tho the axle is tightened to spec....75NM
I know the track is stretching as it is new, single ply and studded...but the adjuster nylock nutrs seem to be returning to the same amount of threads showing prior to adjusting them the last couple times I checked??
This sled has extroverts oem and as such I am trying to run the track on the loose side to let it roll free...Fawkin Nytro has a ridiculous approach angle as it is
Thanks
