2007 Attak - LOVE my sled!!!
This thread is about and for technical support of TRAIL JAMZ.
Please limit your posts here to information about TRAIL JAMZ.

TRAIL JAMZ is a small, light, great sounding, In-Helmet Stereo System that is fully contained in your helmet.

Some Background:

Anyone that knows me, knows I really don't like hassles, I simply want things to work.
Tried many different set-ups for music over the years.

Earbuds work, but are a serious pain.
They hurt when you ride.
Couldn't hear my sled.
Finding the volume control was a pain.
Messing with the cords was a pain.
Was a hassle everytime you put your helmet on, or take it off.
Couldn't talk to riding partners at stop signs, gas stations, etc.
(Usually couldn't find the volume control fast enough, if at all.)
What a pain...

Stupid MP3 would die when I forgot to charge it, or I would have to carry tons of batteries to replace.
The cold made the batteries fail FAST.
Had to keep it inside my jacket to keep it warm, then it would irritate me where it bounced as I rode.
Messing with the wires was a serious hassle, would get all zipped up and...
Realize I forgot to plug something in, turn something on, turn something off etc...
Off it would all come & I would stand there messing with it...
As the guys waited...
And if I caught it in a zipper, took forever to get out...
And usually damaged the wires...
All the hassle sucked the fun right out of having tunes. :o| :o| :o| :o|

I wanted to have tunes, but make them EASY!!!
The goal was to eliminate ALL the hassles normally associated with having music while you ride.
No wires to connect or disconnect when you put on or take off your helmet.
Easy...

Ultimately I wanted a hassle free, easy way to enjoy my music as I ride.
Something that would NOT hold me up when the guys were ready & I wanted to take off.
Doesn't require remembering anything!
Requiring NO messing with ANYTHING!
Easy... I like Easy!

Just put your helmet on & GO!
Enjoy your favorite tunes as you ride.
Just take your helmet off.
It's that simple.

NO wires to mess with! ;)!

The MP3 & Amplifiers have self-contained re-chargeable Li-Ion batteries, you charge them & go play!
If you forget to charge them, it is NO big deal!
You can charge them as you ride, right off your sled!
Easy.
Also gives you indefinite riding time with tunes!

The TRAIL JAMZ kit comes complete with the following:

MP3 Player with 2G built-in memory expandable to 18G with a 16G micro-SD card. Will easily hold 400 songs in built in memory.
Will play almost ANY audio format. Mp3, WMA, etc...
Built in FM radio.
Built in Equalizer
Random, Repeat, Sound recorder.
Countless other Modes, features & benefits.
OLED 1" screen shows songs playing, mode, etc.
NO guessing what mode you are in with the MP3 player, it tells you in the display.
Smart MP3 player requires NO software on your or any computer, just plug in, drag & drop files!
You can even use Windows Media Player to easily copy your music CDs onto the player.
Again, super easy!

Easy external volume control you can operate with GLOVES on!
(Makes it super easy to pull up next to your riding partner(s), talk easily to them & take off again. Very easily, no hunting for the volume.)

Custom smart power supply.
Will properly charge MP3 & optional external amplifier from ANY AC or DC source from 7v to 30v.
(Works with any 2 or 4 stroke sleds & quads, etc)
Power supply stays with MP3 player in case.
Always ready for you, super small & light.
Provides unlimited listen & ride time.

Small, Thin, In-helmet speakers.
They sound great, are small & light to fit most any helmet.
You can still hear your sled also using the In-Helmet speakers.

Nice, small Custom Neoprene zip-up case protects your equipment from the elements.
Custom Soft Case liner holds and protects MP3, Amp, Power supply cords etc.

All required USB cables for loading songs, re-charging, etc.
All required Industrial Velcro for mounting case to helmet, speakers to helmet, & volume control to helmet.
Cold weather Wye cable so you can run a heated visor & charge your Helmet stereo at the same time.

Optional accessories:

Mini Amplifier with Bass Boost.
Greatly increases volume for those of us that like their music super loud or have loud pipes.
(You do not need this to hear your music over a stock sled.)
Even if you don't want your music super loud, the Amplifier also makes the over-all audio quality better.
The standard system sounds really good, it is even better with the Amp!

Upgraded Speakers.
These speakers are also thin & light, yet have extended Bass.
If you like seriously solid Bass, you want the Upgraded Speakers and the Amp!
(If you have to choose just one, get the optional Amplifier.)

Dual USB small, light 120V travel wall charger.
You can charge your stereo in your hotel room.

Dual USB 12V cigarette lighter charger for charging in your vehicle.

You guys will REALLY like this!

The kit includes everything required for a complete installation in your helmet.

TRAIL JAMZ is I-Pod compatible!

The TRAIL JAMZ Smart Power Supply is also I-Pod compatible.
Yes, it WILL charge your I-Pod!
(FYI Most chargers will NOT charge I-pods.)

If you have an I-pod, you know how picky they are about chargers, the TRAIL JAMZ custom power supply will charge it for you!

If you don't have one of the huge, clunky I-Pods, you can use it with the TRAIL JAMZ kit.
(The MP3 Player has to fit into the case, and of course you don't want a huge amount of weight on your helmet.)
(As a general rule, you want small & light.)

I also sell the kit with I-pod compatible power connectors (you use your I-pod USB cable).

Will be posting this as a selection on the site very soon.
UPDATE: An I-pod kit is one of your selections at www.trailjamz.com

Feel free to send me a PM about using an I-pod & I will take care of you!

Something to think about...

The Smart MP3 Player is $45.
The I-Pod Adapter is $10.
So you save $45, then have to get the adapter for $10.
Overall cost for the MP3 Player to you is $35.

For much less than the cost of an equivalent I-pod, you can have a dedicated MP3 Player for your helmet.
Never have to worry about forgetting it & not having tunes, you simply keep it with your helmet as part of your gear.
Easy.

Hey Nick!

Thanks!

I used the standard kit for all Demos, that way it is exactly as you get the kit, and anything more is just that... more!

You heading to the TY Houghton ride?
(Assuming we have snow!)

Anyone have this system in a BV2S helmet? I really want to try this, but don't want to find out the hard way that the speakers don't fit comfortably in my helmet.
