TRAILS CLOSED

About 7 guys peeled off Muskoka Sat and Sun..over the 118 (new trail) ran Brandy Lake in front of us then..came back 5 hours later...in the dark...

Then agian Sunday..same thing good news they lived...braver than me....

I rode all week in Elk Lake we groomed some of our own logging road trails, but there is still 2 feet of snow on the roads if you know where to look. Managed a 700 mile week even with "closed" trails :)

last hoorah. rode 2-300 all week, oleladys had enough. geuss its time. few weeks earlier than last year. we are sitting on the 6-8ft of drift left. been near 60, t shirt riding. xtx really blows my mind in this stuff. we are between florida ma and woodford vt. no mans land, all to ourselves

hey, right on,glad you got some riding done, always more snow in the bush

Pat where there is a will there is a way, we dialed in a couple of roads that we enjoy riding on still lots of snow in some area's.

Our little toy we can do 100 km of trail in 3 hours roughly. It clips along not to bad and a few cold ones make the ride fun.

cool pics,i guess there is no limit when you own your own grooming equipment,it was a nice week, here in town, there is no snow and the trails have 0 snow to get to the bush line,as soon as you hit the bush, you could still ride but its getting nasty,we go with the quads now

Yeah agreed its getting down to nothing, I packed it in on Friday and came home. Our lake was getting pretty black already I cannot beleive how warm it was up there!

We built that drag a few years back to do a couple of the small trails around our cottage so the girls wouldn't complain riding to the lakes. We typically use the argo for fishing in the summer time getting to remote lakes etc but we tried it out this winter for the first time towing the drag and it works very well.

Being a smaller lighter machine you can get into places the big equipment today just can't and withtout fear of sinking it etc... Pretty fun little buggy.

We want to start to work on getting the trail from long point through the park to the red squirrel road opened up, do you have some guys that can work on that with us from the area?

The trail were working on is not OFSC just a logging road.

The beauty lake road where it splits at the Y if you stay to the left and into the park the road continues right through to red squirrel road, or to temagami. I have ridden it a few times its an old logging road. beleive it or not some of the hills are steep enough that they are paved because the trucks couldn't climb them fully loaded.

There is a bridge that crosses a big river that is out because the hippes burned the top off of it to try and keep people out of the park.

I'm sorry guys but in southern Wisconsin we had one of longest seasons in years it started Dec 9 and ended the first after the first weekend in march.
I was going to pull trails yesterday but I'm still in denial.LOL
