I bought a set of tric (cable type) ice scratchers today from the yamaha dealer for my 09 Vector LTX GT and I am now hearing that there is an issue with the batt type connector that attaches to my sway bar link (weak). I was told yamaha is aware of this issue and are looking at resolving this issue. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the link. I installed mine last evening. I will call the dealer today to enquire about the terminal ends.

I talked to the dealer this morning and told him there is a bulletin on the ice scratchers. He is going to check and get back to me as he is not aware of it. Could be the xmas break

I cannot say for sure but it will be easy to distinguish as the terminal seems to be made of possibly aluminum. All you got to do is see if it will bend. Anyway, the new one is suppose to be stainless.

Made these up a couple of years ago and they work great on my 04 Warrior! No more overheating when there is minimal snow conditions and increased Hyfax life! Got the idea from Simmons Skis.
