My extended skid hit my crossover tube on a heavy bottom out. Any ideas on what I can use to protect the tube from my studs. I was thinking of attaching some hyfax to the tunnel protector or covering the tube with a piece of steel conduit. I welcome any ideas.

I put a sheet of aluminum in between tunnel and tunnel protectors and bend it up and rivited it to the rear cross member. drilled hole and used the tunnel protector bolts to hold it

Trent,
What length studs are you running ?
Maybe you could install about a 1/4" thick section of Hyfax on the bottom of your tunnel protectors to help out with your clearance problem.

Might be a good idea. But those where from some monster bottom outs at high speed. Same hole Brian totaled his sled on last year. That just shows how tough that Expert X is.
this isn't my thread Nick. Remind me at novi I'll tell you about it.
