Yes, I know it's an IHI turbo, Is there a very specific model number identified on the tag for the turbo that correlates to the model year '17?
Or must I dismantle everything as they are all different?
I figured NYTurbo might know....

Got it, I replace these intake clamps while I was there.

THere was a revision to the IHI turbo in around 2018 , not sure what it was but expect it was to address the failures.

IT was not performance related as there was no tune updates

Don't worry I'll be getting all the updates done soon. Hahaha
Pre 18 turbos are the fast ones
Apparently some of them are going to have to find out the hard way. Hahaha. You're killing me.

In the TCat line, 2017 thru 2019 used turbo 3020-386. Starting in 2020 thru current, turbo changed to 3021-932. No info on what was changed.

Interesting I see the Sidewinders turbo part number was updated in the 2019 and later models....I would be curious what the difference was?

NYTurbo, sees the change in turbo #'s as well, but nothing changed with tune.
Assuming both came from the same supplier, lots of speculation could come from this.
