Unstable in windblown snow?

We offer a-arm protectors for the Phazer that can also help with floatation in the deep snow. But they might also decrease the effects of a ski diving in as you guys are describing.

As stated, it is the ski's and ski stance. My Powder Pro's do the same thing. They are an aggressive ski with a keel like that, you've got to be careful with them when things get crusty. Another factor is the 14" wide track. The entire machine is generally more tippy, with a higher center of graviety.

Also make sure ski toe-in is set right. Have had a bunch of customers sleds in for the steering recall with the skiis toed in. Every one of those people complained of the same thing. With the ski beeing so aggressive, any toe in at all will make the sled very twitchy in crusty or spring time snow. Manual says 0-10mm of toe out. Because of the slop in the steering i shoot for 0 with the ski tips pulled in towards each other. That way the skiis can not toe in while riding. This is not a cure but checking the toe will take alot of the twitch out of it.
