Update-Question

Just an update on my mighty Phazer. I broke the rear suspension bracket and the starter failed. I just got off the phone with Full Throttle and it sounds like Yamaha will cover everything (YES). Apparently, when the starter failed it took some gears with it. As for the suspension, the part that failed was #27 BRACKET 2 8GC-47416-01-00 (replaces 8GC-47416-00-00). The Yami rep said that he has not seen issues with that, but F.T. said that there are a lot of upgraded part numbers. Is that #27 the part that some of you have seen failure with? Or is it #23 BRACKET, ARM PIVOT 8ES-47349-01-00 (replaces 8ES-47349-00-00)? Just want some clarification just in case. Only problem is that one of the motor parts has to come from Japan....Other then this issue(s), I love this sled. I rode my buddy's Vector GT for about 30 miles and couldn't stand sitting like that.

Its all those parts.Comes as a kit.The new 8GC-47416-01-00 wont fit the older arms and such since it is wider and solid aluminum.Front arm is also made stronger.Lot of changes there.

Thats what the service manager said to Yamaha. It's an 07, so it still has/had the original setup.
