Upper ball joint?

Is there anyway to tell the difference between the 08 to 09 upper ball joints?

Are 09 upper balljoints shorter?
Possible no need to machine? Bolt on to an 08?
I don't know this but someone will.

Yea I'm hoping someone will know. I just picked up a 08 40th rtx . Guy said lower ones where changed but not shure about uppers.

Uppers were not part of the recall. I had mine replaced though as they were very sloppy at 600 miles, not sure why. My brother's sled has 2400 miles on it and his uppers are pretty tight yet, he got his lowers done last winter with about 2000 miles on it, under the recall..............Brian

As far as I know the upper ball joints are the same, the arms are shorter on the 09 and up.
